newbie help starting my boat

cant figure out all the things I need to do to get it to start

ex. lever positions ket switches and so on

it is a 1975 silverlione comoro with a 90 hp mercury

any help is very appreciated thanks Wayne

It would help to know what year the motor is. But normally you pump up the primer bulb, make sure its in neutral, turn the key on, push the key in to choke and hold it in a few seconds, then start the motor. Keep bunping the choke if needed until the motor runs smoothly.
