NEED INFO ON ALUMACRAFT SKI

I have this set of aluminum water skis that i believe were only made from 1958-1960.they are by jc higgins which was sold by sears.thats all the info i have.i buy and rwsale and need as much info as i can get.l would like the value,and if worth more restored.any other info would great as well.why they went out of manufactoring so quickly for instance.i hope i posted this correctly.i havent a clue what im doing.i will try to add pics

They are a generic $20 garage sale set of old skis.

They are worth more as wall art then as skis

JC Higgins was Sears sporting goods brand. John Higgins worked for the company for a very long time… nobody’s gonna use them but there cool display pieces

Yeah...i appreciate the replies..i fig .the wall art idea.maybe a restaurant or bar on the lake or something like that.thanks again for your help
