If I’m in the wrong thread let me know. I have a Martin 100 from the 50’s that is nearly complete and looks like new. I just picked it up from a guy getting rid of years worth of antique outboards. I have some assembly left and one of the things needing assembly is the front sight gauge. It‘s in two parts and it looks like it would have a glass tube between the sections. My question is how does it get fuel reading? There are two bolt holes but no apparent connection to the fuel. Any advice or redirection would be appreciated.

Sight glass gauges have two hollow mounting studs, and they go thru a seal..... They also leak
