Hello everybody. last year I started my attempt to save an old Johnson outboard from the scrap pile. This thing was in sad shape. I decided it might be fun/informative to video my progress as I progressed, and post it on youtube to share with others in the hopes that my experience might be helpfull (or at the very least, mildly entertaining).

Here is the link to Part 2, where I modify a solenoid I had so I could use it to crank her over, and learn there is good compression, but no spark:
