Was reading a post about the very same problem that I have .And sounded like someone knows a lot about these motors.The issue is no spark .This motor looks really nice carb on board fuel tank both look almost new So I sure could use the good information I was reading about on i boats I just can’t find the info again .My motor’s serial numbers are 7E027?25 the ? Is because that number has been scraped off model number is 217/58592-0 was told it is a 1977 anyway I would appreciate help with finding parts for this motor maybe someone can tell for sure what year it is checked impeller does pump water when hooked up to drill and didn’t look bad but would like to change it as well would appreciate advice and direction Contact gleesondaniel57@gmail.com thank you
