Will 33? nails work in a 34? nailer? It seems like they would but a little confusing and I hate to buy a whole box just to try them.

Not normally, they are going to be more prone to jams.

In a harbor freight nailer, you would get away with it, their tools are not built to a high tolerance level, in some of the more expensive tools, such as Pasload, I don't think you would get away with it.

That nailer is adjustable from 22% to 34% I personally would use it for commercial use. May be ok for home?

I have a Paslode and found that most guns have a 2-3? range. They aren't precision surgical instruments. They shoot nails. You should be fine. Most production nails have more deviation in them than 1?

The standard for framing guns is 21 deg. Some of the off brand nails are 22's and will work but I get more shiners. I don't use them unless there's notthing else around. I've had both Senco's and Hitachi's but the one I kept when I sold my business was the Hitachi NR83 A2. In my opinion it's the best framer ever made. With a depth gauge you can even do prefinished siding without breaking the skin. It shoots 2-1/2 to 3-1/2" Full round head nails (only thing legal in California).
