i have a 1987 regal with a omc 3.0 (GM)cobra. i have a problem, when i throttle down it wants to cut out at around 2800 rpm's i installed a new distributor cap and rotor, wires, plugs, coil and changed it to an electronic ignition system.i adjusted the distributor timing as well. it does a little better but still cuts out the only thing i have not done is adjust the carb to specs. not sure what the adjustment is! can anyone help me with this problem? would be greatly apriciated.<br />Ron C

Re: carburetor adjustment

If it's the carb, it'll need to be rebuilt, not adjusted. I'd look into: fuel flow and pressure, vacuum leaks, and maybe a shift interrupter circuit, if it has one, before rebuilding the carb.
