Bow Panel Buttons not working

2006 Glastron GX 185 SF
Bow panel: The aerator button and the trim button does not work. To be clear the trim button works on the accelerator handle. Also I am not referring to the panel by he steering wheel. That all works fine.

In the bow panel itself there is a switch fuse which I have replaced but it changed nothing. Additionally I have cleaned all the connections.

Has anyone had this problem?

I have a 2005 with the same problem and haven't been able to come up with a solution either so any insight would be great

Could it be the switch itself? not an expert by no means.
