Hello,
Last fall while I was backing my aluminum boat back into my garage the bottom of the motor caught the cement floor and pushed the bottom of the motor causing it to bend the top of the transom out one and a half inches. Can this be bent back and how? If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help.

Aluminum is very prone to work/strain hardening, so bending it back may do more harm than good. The correct fix would be to replace the damaged section of aluminum.

If you want to risk fixing it, I would pull the motor, and use either a porta power or a comealong setup to carefully pull it back.

Do not try to do it your self. Good chance for you to do more damage. Have a marine repair shop do it. A 1 hour of labor does the. The boat has to be securely strapped to the trailer.
