Hello all,
Just bought a Raytheon RL70RC mono chrome radar and gps. After playing around with it to learn its functions,I discovered the backlight is not working.Ive sen a few sights that might sell the light.Has anyone out there replaced it themselves?I guess Im concerned with cracking this thing open and loosing the waterproof seal like a watch. Also any idea how much to get it done by the pros?

Thanks

The entire lcd screen needs to be replaced.I had a sl70 stand alone display with a working backlight.these units use the same lcd screen so i just swapped them out.took about 20 min.So I guess I answered my own question.I hope this helps anyone who reads this post.
