I'm not sure of the year,serial OG036267. Motor runs OK on muffs but does not seem to be charging and the tach doesn't work. From other posts it sounds like either the voltage regulator (there is brown goo running out the bottom) or the stator. While waiting for a manual (7-10 days) do I need to be making a test box for checking the stator? Something about DVA voltage. I have access to a good meter.
