25hp compared to 20hp

I am wondering what the differences might be between similar years of 20 and 25hp merc outboards. Other than, of course, the 5 horsepower ;-)

I put a 25hp carb on a 1994 20hp and I got around 400 rpms more and a slight increase of speed..
