2013 40hp Etec fuel vapor seporator

Hey,

My buddy and I were working on his 40 hp etec and the plastic nipple on the fuel vapor seporator broke (the bottom return I think). Does anyone know if the bottom plate of a 150hp will work? Can only buy the whole assembly but we can get a cheap one for a 150hp. They whole assembly look the same but different part numbers. Any help would be great.

if same size it should fit...all it does is vent vapor from the fuel and filter the returned injector fuel for cooling

the other issue is the hig pressure fuel pump ?

why not check in with the folks on the ETEC owners board just ask
