Thinking about buying a 2004 204 Fx that needs a gas tank. I'm in NC, and the only one I can find is in Florida.

Any help / advice is appreciated.

depending on where in NC or Florida, your looking at 8-10 hours one way for a road trip

Hopefully Angler upped their game considerably from when I looked at them in 2000 they were a bit “thin skinned”.

They where attractively priced but had a hull weight #500 lighter than their competitor, and it showed

Why local?
You can have one shipped to your home for less than it cost you to run across town to pick one up

Welding World in Florida is the only one I found.
The fuel tanks are commercial items.
If you can come up with the dimensions, just about any place can make you one.

You could go plastic as well

The seller sent me this picture of the part number. Online search pops up Welding World.

Going to look at the boat and tank this weekend. I'll get the tank measurements. Great idea.

This is the correct size for 2004 angler 204 fx. Flat, no belly. Shipping from Florida is $700.

I'm in NC. Trying to locate local. I've emailed some of the suggested online companies, with no response yet.

Should I just find a great local welder / fabricator?

By Googling, several places that do marine fuel tanks come up. I assume you have reached out to them. Be patient/persistent if you have already made inquiries.
