    I never bought it when i get 50 psi of compression. I'll talk to the seller again to get a second look of the motor and do the oil test. What compression will be im looking at after that? For me to buy that motor. Thanks for all your inputs.

    Update : water.is discharging now. I clean up the thermostatic valve, Im happy i got the motor running now.

    Thank you very much " racerone " now it starts normally. My next problem is the water is not discharging. Is the lower part normally plugged? I just bought this boat last Monday as my first project boat.

    Hi, Im very new to the forum and maybe some of you can guide me on what to do next. I got spark, i set the contact point to 0.02 gap, i clean the carb, i.change the fuel line and put new spark plug but still not starting. Hope anyone can share some input to my troubleshooting.
