    Went electric

In a thread titled "went electric" discussing EV's isn't really that far off topic. I mean electric lawn mower, electric weed whacker, electric vehicle...they all have a common thread.

Wouldn't that be awesome? Work 30 minutes, 2 hour break for recharge. Work 30 minutes, 2 hour break for a recharge, work 30 minutes, 2 hour break for a recharge....time to go home!

If you were in your EV and the battery craps out and the next charging station is 50,100,150 miles away, what would you do?

I doubt that what you claim is true, but, that wasn't the point. What I got from your earlier post was that coal fired electric plants are non-existent. Also, if EV's are so great, why do they have to be forced upon us? If wind and solar are so great, why does it have to be forced upon us...and...

    Went electric

I think that the cordless weed whacker would work great for me just doing the yards. Light, quiet, etc. But, like i pointed out the cost....after I spent, correction, it was $400 for the Stihl 2 stroke whacker. I also purchased a cutting blade with it as I had a bunch of kosia weed, 3-4 feet...

    Went electric

I looked at the DeWalt stuff at my local D&B supply. 1 20v 10ah battery was $259, a pack of 2 was $369.

Wife and I were hiking in Zion Park on Saturday. She fell and hit her head on a rock. Slight concussion, 7 stitches and a whole bunch of hurt, but no broken bones. From the incident to her being loaded into the ambulance was 4 hours.

    Went electric

My neighbor a couple of weeks ago was talking up the DeWalt battery weed whacker. I looked at the new ones, 20v, $130...not bad. Then I see the 20v, 10ah batteries, $360 for 2 and another 100 or so for a charger.... That's a tough pill to swallow especially after I spent $370 for a Stihl 2...

Looking to trade in the 2006 mustang GT 4.6 for a 2017 50

See posts #7 and #8 above. My brother lives around Seguin, I think, which isn't far from Austin. . I know we went out to the place he was buying and I liked the area. Very rural, farms, agriculture, etc. I do remember that the people are friendly around there.

Looking to trade in the 2006 mustang GT 4.6 for a 2017 50

I've been to TX 5 times. I did 4 jobs in TX in 2012/13. Lubbock, San Antone, Frisco and Houston. We didn't have much time for goofing off tho. 2 years ago we visited my brother who lives in the SA area. We spent 5/6 days out there and to be honest, I don't really dig it. The traffic is horrible...

Looking to trade in the 2006 mustang GT 4.6 for a 2017 50

I rented a pressure washer yesterday and cleaned up the Windsor. I did under the hood too. I’m getting close to putting the motor back in. Taking the headers to work for some bead blasting. I got some white header paint so I’ll get those painted up.
