What are the details of this 40HP Sea Pro?

Hi, I'm interested in buying this local 40 HP near me.

My question is can anyone decode the serial number and tell me any information about it? Year? I know it's a 40 HP and a Sea Pro. The add says it's a short shaft. Any way to confirm that with the serial number? I know I can measure it. Does it have oil injection?

Also what is the Sea Pro model? Does that mean it's for salt water? I would be using this on my 16' lund on fresh water lake for fishing and pleasure boating. Is this a good reliable motor?

I would be looking to upgrade my 1984 Evinrude 35 HP.

The serial number he told me is 0G159164, the 0 might be an O.

Looks like a 1995 model.-----Sea Pro often offered without oil injection or electric start.

1041207RD.

The L should make it a Long shaft.
