    Great Lakes Musky Surprise Catch

This past September my wife and 3 of my grandkids went out to my usual port on Lk Huron to do some trolling. Fall is a great time to capitalize on steelhead so we set various lines, 4 downriggers of staggered depths, a couple wire divers, and ran 75, 150, and 200 copper rigs. We were having a...

    Rigging Copper Line For Trolling

For our fishing friends: To add to the lean, mean fishing machines arsenal I got some more trolling rigs done up. Copper is used in specific lengths to achieve certain depths flatline trolled. Since copper line is an effective trolling method on the Great Lakes I got 4 new Okuma CV45D reels...

    Can you identify this boat?

My neighbor picked up this boat yesterday but has no idea what it is. It seems to be well kept and has been stored for many years. No plate or hull id anywhere to be found. It is a 14 footer, wood and glass construction.

    18' 1969 Offshore V restoration

Re: 18' 1969 Offshore V restoration Nice looking work on the boat. DMV's can be a frustrating experience and it sounds like you have had more than your share of grief. I was concerned when I went to get the paperwork done on the Cheif I bought last July. It had been 6+ months since...

    My Chieftan project

Hello to all on these forums. Long time reader, first time poster. Fell upon this beast a few months ago and after looking it over real good and describing all the faults to the seller I was able to drop his price down over $1500 down to the 3 digit range. It is listed as 24' and will...
