    Elgin 1950's 5 hp carburetor parts?

    My mechanic has unfrozen my mid fifties Elgin and it fires, but runs very rough. The carburetor needs to be cleaned and he is reluctant to disassemble it lest things fall apart and he has no replacements. Any suggestions welcome.
