This cropped in maybe? Kind of looks right? Starboard valve cover near fill cap...

    My 84 4winns horizon 195 project.

Haven't been able to do much so just been chipping away test fitting wood. When I glass the front false floor transition, I plan to ramp it then do a pass through in the bulk head so any water up there can pass under the fuel tank and through the rear bulk head to the bilge.

Did a bunch of test fitting today. Also got evicted so to speak. Hopefully she's structurally sound enough to go on the trailer....

    cooking

Mine being inauthentic is because the crust is like a pie crust... not a dough crust. I was trying to duplicate a bar pie my parents used to go to and got pretty close with that one and I liked it. It's also cheese and sauce only. About 2lbs of cheese actually lol. She's big, 14 inch or so...

I messed around with deep dish back in December. Got one I liked a lot though it isn't 100% traditional or authentic. Yours looks awesome. Mine:

    1986 Mercruiser 260 Advice

Yeah it's about as mismatched as you can get I think... dad built the original drive from the 3.0l when he got the boat from bad cores and basically junk he had in the shop at the time... you know, stuff you'd never put on a customer's boat but still good enough to gamble on for yourself since...

Manifolds (Trying to figure out what I am looking at)

Good eye. Cylinder 5 which seemed to be near the worst of it. I am hopeful they did everything right but... I'd feel better if that was a crack as odd as it is to say. I'll have to take a look when I go down. Appreciate it. Yeah, heads are cheap and accessible around here too. Hell, new from GM...

    My 84 4winns horizon 195 project.

Few updates: First, carpet was delivered. Second, got the call from the machine shop... found no issues with the engine. I'm both relieved and not at the same time. Guess we'll find out as time goes on.

Manifolds (Trying to figure out what I am looking at)

So I just got off the phone with the shop. Everything (including manifolds) was pressure tested, inspected, torn down whatever... And there was nothing to be found. They're equally as confused as I am currently but everything checks out. Was hoping to feel more confident about their findings...

Help Getting Boat on EZLoader Trailer

I guess you don't. But when if/when pulled on the dry you typically like having one. Granted that isn't an issue for the southern folk.

Thanks! I'm going to mark out the grid for the cleats on the hull then just snap chalk lines once the boards go down. Figure that should work. My boards are all going to be seamed on a cleat anyway as I want to retain the center hatch for fuel tank removal/access.

That looks like the route I think I'll go then. I also see you pre drilled your foam holes (my plan as well). Seems to have worked well that way you'd say? I have an Irrational fear of drilling through the hull even though I know that is basically impossible almost everywhere....

Help Getting Boat on EZLoader Trailer

One was a 40 something foot Pace. I wouldn't necessarily say it was self bailing. I don't remember the other one as that one was from before I was born but I heard the stories of discovering that there wasn't a plug when it was wintered and defrosting about a foot of ice in the bilge with a...

Help Getting Boat on EZLoader Trailer

For me it is the fender ~2-3 inches from being submerged. Idle up to the trailer it goes on ~3/4 of the way, climb up to the bow, hitch the strap and winch the last 3 feet. Drive is typically most of the way up. I used to walk it on at the old ramp but that is closed now. This one is all dirt...
