    Tiller replacement?

    Can anyone help me with replacing an entire tiller handle assembly on a 1972 Merc 110, 9.8hp motor? I am willing to purchase a manual but if someone could give me some advice on the best one to get for this particular procedure it would be a big help. Thanks.

    '75 Johnson 6HP impeller replacement

    Hey there. I removed the four bolts attaching the LU to the exhaust housing and removed the shift linkage screw but the LU won't drop. Do I need to use more umph or is there another linkage under the power head that needs to be removed?:confused:

    Drain LU f/ impeller change?

    Is there any advantage or reason to drain the LU before working on the water pump. Seems like it wouldn't make a difference but since the manuals don't mention it one way or another I thought I should defer to the iboat experts. Thanks.:)

    Hyster Forklifts anyone?

    Gear Oil Drain & Level seals

    Having trouble finding replacement seals for the drain and oil level screws on my Evinrude motors (no marine stores nearby). Would O rings work just as well and is there a specific type that I should look for if they would?
