    Bass boat refinsh.

    I know from building model boats that epoxy will stick to polyester. I am going to try tip and roll with some west system epoxy for a clear. If anyone has tried and failed, let me know.

    17 ft bass boat with 135 merc.

    I was just wondering what kind of real world speeds I could expect to get out of this combo. I currently have a 120 rude on it and am getting 48 mph gps with a ss 18 pitch. Boat is rated for 135 so I cant go higher.

    No help with model number.

    I read on here some where that mercury marine would help you identify the model number for your force outboard by cross referencing the casting numbers. They probably can if they wanted but I promise you they dont want to. It took less than five minutes for them to tell me to have a nice day...

    Ignition trouble shooting help.

    Now that I got the cooling system going, on to the real problem. I have a miss at all speeds in a 2003 25hp. I dont have a manual as its not my boat. I was hopeing someone might now the resistance I should have on the coils, stator, and triger. Output voltage would be cool too.
