    Where are Mercs made?

    The new (2005-6) 50hp Merc/mariner outboards have "Made in Fon Du Lac USA" printed on them Does anyone have proof that they are made there?<br />Or are the parts stamped out in in another country and sent there for assembly.<br />Some reference documents would be helpful.

    2005 Mariner ELTPO 50

    I have just invested in a new boat with a 50hp Mariner 2 stroke ELTPO. It goes like a raped-ape,for a 50, but seems not to pee much while on the flushers. I notice it has an extra water intake under the cav plate and also has a thermostat. Has anyone operating a similar motor had this issue ?

    Suzuki parts lists FREE

    I notice that www.brownspoint.com has re-loaded Parts .pdf lists again for Suzuki.<br /><br />If you register, you can either<br />print them out or go to you temporary internet files and copy the .pdf to a suitable diectory. Don't think you can directly download them. They are about 4MB.
