Dhadley, wheres that idle screw?

Got a seloc manual to my John 175 faststrike -92.<br />It shows an ilustrated pic where the idle screw is placed, but i cant find it on my engine.<br />Anyone that can describe where its located?

You can change the idle with that linkage on top of the flywheel cover. It may help to remove the small cover with the 3 screws in it. You can adjust the linkage from there and/or use the tab marked "Low". Thats for the low speed timing.<br /><br />For this motor I'd suggest an OE manual rather than a generic one. It may help avoid some confusion.<br /><br />Good luck!
