Just wondering what folks around the country are paying for rec gas today? In the Englewood/Port Charlotte are of SW Florida, it jumped $0.45 over night and is now$4.58/gal. Regular 87 octane is $4.09! Never saw that in my 61yrs on this planet. It will be back to kayak fishing soon!

I'm guessing you're talking about ethanol free gasoline?
I need to get some either this weekend or Wednesday. I get 92 for my 65 Chevy, and I get 87 for all my small engines.
I'll post when I do.

Ethanol free 90 octane is what we call rec gas. About 2/3rds of the gas stations here carry it because we are a coastal town. It good in small engine 4 stroke stuff too. Mowers, trimmers, generators, etc.

Here in California itā€™s $5.00+ everywhere. When they start the summer blend Iā€™m sure it will top $6.00 a gallon. Gas at marinas already $7.00+. Rising energy costs will accelerate inflation like not seen before. Going to be a bumpy ride, hold on.

Just saw $1.76 CA / liter for diesel today.-------It amounts to telling the grandkids I won't be able to drive for 4 days to go and see them.------Might have to learn to overcome my resistance to going by Boeing 737.----Flying there by myself would be about 1/4 of the cost for diesel fuel alone.-----Thinking gasoline at marinas is going to be about $2.50/ liter or more this summer.-------They say there will be a 24' electric boat on the market soon.-----Roughly $300,000 US to get into that " money saving " product.

How about 90 octane ethanol free? Diesel is crazy high here too. I didn't look actually but it's normally around $0.35 more a gallon around here.

The rise in fuel prices is going to grossly affect the airline industry. Anyone who plans to fly anywhere this year would be wise to make your reservations now asap.

Gas prices went crazy back in 2008, but I guess we have forgotten. They are getting back to where they were.

Better ask for an increase in your allowance so you can buy gasoline for your boat. :ROFLMAO:

I paid $4.20/gallon yesterday for 87 octane ethanol free gas for the mower and boat. E10 was $3.79 at that station and $3.69 a few miles up the road near the house. This is in MS.

Forgot to add, saw a guy on a YouTube video fill up a fast boat in Florida with a 450 gallon tank the was empty when he started. This was at a marina and it was around $2400. šŸ˜¬
