Currently I only have straps forward and back so it's either up or down on the seats. Of course I could remove it completely but I'm in Texas with an 18 month old on board. I would like it more stable at speed and was wondering where to find support poles to mount and if I could even do this. A little leary about drilling new holes for a mount.

Yes you can do this, but you will have to mount brackets. The support poles I got were from www.Overtons.com. I think I paid $40.00 bucks for them. These support poles go on the stern side of the bimini. Measure to the length you want and easily cut. I leave my bimini up while trailering.

Re: Need bimini top help

I need help to try and put bimini top on flybridge of houseboat, its a 14ft x 74ft Jamestowner and has theformed fiberglass bench seats on each side of the helm area. I think a 103 in wide bimini top will work just don't know how to go about installing. Have one on a deck boat that has straps front and rear but will probably need braces on flybridge. any suggestions will be helpful as well as pictures will try to post pictures of my flybridge.
Thanks
