Somebody had to zambonie the ice between the 2nd and 3rd periods. Are there pics of him in goalie pads driving? Is there an Emergency Back Up Zambonie Driver slot?

I think he drives the Zamboni at another rink.-------I say the leafs lost the game.------I turned leafs off to watch pretty athletes in curling.----I think they all go to the hair dresser and make-up salon before the game..

Scotties Tournament of Champions, Those ladies are easy on the eyes. I worked security for that tourney years ago in Hamilton. They sure are pretty and great curlers.

As far as the emergency goalie story, I dunno unless someone went to a lot of trouble to fake that story. I checked, it's true. He has more than 15 minutes of fame, he's in the record books now. Good for him.

Standing in front of a rock hard 6 ounce projectile flying at your head travelling 110 MPH is not for the faint of heart nor someone that has a semblance of intelligence. (110 MPH is the fastest a puck has been clocked at during an All Star skills competition.)

I love seeing these emergency goalies get their moment in the spotlight. So many of these guys have been playing all their lives, never really expecting to get into the NHL. It's cool to see a more-or-less average guy get into a real game. Even cooler is how the other players really understand what a big deal it is, and invariably the celebrate the guy's experience like they really appreciate what it means. This is one of the cooler things about hockey that you don't generally see in other pro sports.

Friend of mine had a shop in Muskoka.------Son was a pretty good Junior C goalie.-------On occasion they would get a call if said son could come out for some " pick-up " hockey to play net.-----You know who would have a cottage in Muskoka.-----Junior said he enjoyed it.----One comment I heard was-----" Those guys can shoot the puck "------The fellow in net as the EBUG the other day was very familiar with NHL players and had seen many shots.------Just never in an actual game.----I heard that the stick he used is going into the hall of fame.------Great story all in all and not the end of it.-----I want to see some video of his welcome Tuesday night in the Carolina home rink.
