Ayuh,..... I like it, But,....

My water frontage is only 60', 'n the river mouth is 'bout 300' across, along with a 13' 6" bridge to go under 100 yards towards the lake,....

Plenty of draft though,...

There's just something about the idea of running around the lake here in Nashville in that thing that's appealing ...

... though, the Admiral would NOT see the intrigue.

Looks like a mighty fine boat, I don't think I would even know where to find mooring for it though around here.

Would that look cool with a few down riggers and rods set trolling around for Erie Walleye. That's a lot of boat for 50K, considering a new 18 footer here can go for 50K. We live on the north shore of Erie. There are a few fishing ports in the area and many folks have taken old steel fishing boats, service boats even old tugs and have retrofitted to pleasure craft. They are anywhere from as small as 30 feet to around 100 feet. There is actually a 100 footer that goes from port to port selling hardwood flooring on it, it stays moored for about a month at a time along the break wall. They have been done up with some ingenious set ups and colours. One of our favorite villages is Port Dover Ont. which is only 20 minutes from us. It is still an active fishing port for commercial guys. And as I said there are some special steel boats that folks have done up and sit in slips in the marinas in town. One of our favorites is a smaller 30 footer all done up with the stack painted with images of Popeye and Olive Oil. Most have hot tubs and dance floors on deck, one actually has a lawn growing on deck that is fenced in for the owners dogs. It's not every day you will see a guy cutting the lawn on a boat. You don't often see them out on the lake just like the big cruisers, especially when petrol and Diesel goes for around 6 bucks a gallon on average here. When I learn to use Photo Bucket I'll post some pics.
