Yellow Thin Liquid in Engine Compartment

Hello guys, fairly new to boating here. I bought my first inboard the other day. Took it out on the water and everything worked great for our short outing. Second day; however, ended differently. I have a 2007 Mastercraft X45. We were out wakeboarding and noticed that we felt a jerk, almost like it would not allow us to throttle up. As I throttled down to 5-10 mph, there was no more slip in the propulsion. I maintained that speed back to the dock to get it out of the water. I noticed at the bottom of my engine compartment copious amounts of thin, slimy, oil-like substance. It was into the bilge as well. Does anyone know what this could indicate. Engine temps and oil temps were good the whole day. Thank you for any advice.

:welcome: to iBoats . . .

Yellow or more tan than yellow? "Oil-like" sounds like the proverbial 'milkshake' from water mixing in the engine oil. . . often due to a cracked engine block.

Got any pictures to share?
