I don't know your engine particulairly, but generally all Johnny/Rudes are considered excellent engines, up to the last couple years of OMC's ownership of them. Your one seemed to have survived almost 30 years, so it must be good...
<br />Seriously though, *good* doesn't apply to year of manufacture or model on an engine that old. What really matters is if it runs, it's condition and compression.
