Year and mix for 2 & 3hp Johnsons

I recently bought two used Johnson outboards: a 2 hp Johnson Model J2RDEDE serial H9343103 and a 3 hp Johnson Model J3RETB Serial B09007619. What year was each of them manufactured and what is the oil mix ratio for each of them? One, the 2hp, appears to be in new condition. Should it be broken in with a heavier oil mix?<br />Thanks.<br />-David

J2RDEDE is a 1996<br /><br />J3RETB is a 1993<br /><br />both are a 50:1 mix, as far as a heavier mix for the 2hp, thats up to you to determine whether it needs to be broken in or not. a heavier mix probably wouldn't hurt if you're not too sure.good luck
