Yamaha 85 bolt pattern template?

I'm almost ready to mount my C85. I've heard they make a template for the bolt pattern. Where do I get one? Do people just hang there motor by a hoist and just hold the motor and drill. It seems that not a very accurate way to do it. I've never hung a motor. Please help.

Not quite, but close. Find exact centre, hang the motor (make sure it is square to the transom lip), mark out the holes with a pencil, remove the motor - and drill! Just make sure you drill the holes in a position that allows for motor adjustment.

The transom is on an angle, drill on the same angle so that the holes are 90 deg square.
