I just bought a 1989 25 Elec/pull start motor.
It doesn't have the bracket to attach the cables on the motor.
There is a shaft coming out the side of the cowl, behind the shift lever.
This has a home made alum. lever attached to it.
Does anyone have a picture of the right side of the motor, with the control bracket, and throttle lever in the picture?
The home made lever hangs down, from the shaft, and to increase throttle, it has to be pulled forward. My throttle cable pushes, when the throttle is increased. I'm trying to fab a bracket, but need to figure out how to deal with the cable direction, being backwards.
It would be nice to see how it's supposed to be.
