WOT running at 3,600

I have a 1986 Smokercraft with 3.0L Mercruiser. Putting it in the water for the first time this year it only ran at WOT 3600 and having a hard time planing. I fill it with premium gas and put in 1.5 the gas treatment for storage. I have done the same thing for the 4 years I have had this boat. I get it winterized and have the oil, lower unit oil changed at the same time. Put in new spark plugs, changing one at a time. There was no water in bottom of boat to slow me down. Oil pressure was good, water temp was normal. Please help, I ran it for 10 - 15 minutes and no longer so I didn't damage anything more than it might be.

Look up in the Adults Sticky at the top of the forum. It has a section on No WOT. I has a very good list to check. Check all of them and you will find your problem.
