Can anyone tell me what the factory "spec" is for engine RPM at WOT on a 1986 force engine. I know there are many variables to think about, so looking to get ranges of RPM not a specific RPM. The boat is a Starcraft 18.5 ft long. Its a fairly light built hull with a waterline of about 17 feet. The boat has an OMC digital tach that seems to be reading near double the actual RPMs. There are no switches onthe back of the tack, so I am guessing there is no fix for it but to do the math.
