Mostly freshwater guy here. Going to see some friends in Corpus Christi TX and they want to take us out in the bay on kayaks (first time for me) since the reds have been biting.
Due to the cars limited space I'm trying to decide which rod I should take (limit 1). Think I've narrowed it down to a 6ft medium with a baitcast reel (my bass setup), or a 9ft medium/heavy with a big spinning reel (bigger catfish setup).
