Which model checkmate do I have?

I have a 2000 Checkmate 18'6" The title doesn't specify what checkmate i/e pulse, pulsare etc....How can I find out? Here are some pictures of the boat. .01.jpg02.jpg03.jpg06.jpg07.jpg

Call Checkmate at 419 562-3881 and give them the HIN. I'd wager they could tell you what year and model it is.

NADA might not be good for used boat prices, but at least they're helpful when looking up manufacturer/model information. In 2000 Checkmate made two '19' foot outboards, the Pulse 186 BR (bowrider) and the Pulse 186. So, seeing as how yours obviously isn't a bowrider...... it would be a Pulse 186.

You could still call up Checkmate and say hi to Mike. Heck of a nice guy and he'll be the one you talk to if you ever need parts.

(Oops, I just noticed that you said the boat's for sale so you probably won't be needing to get parts anytime in the future. One question.... Why would you want to sell a great boat like that one? :eek: )

First things first, that is a gorgeous Checkmate you have there. It appears to be a Pulsar 186, I may be wrong but another easy way to check would be to go to the Checkmate forum and ask there, the site is here Checkmate Community Boating Forums

Went to breakfast and didn't see Metric's post, he has the correct answer I believe. I had pulsar on the brain when I typed this and glazed over the Pulse. You might even post it for sale on there as there are several people looking for Checkmates to buy.
