We just recently purchased a 1997 Searay 330EC. We live in S FL and are very interested in joining a group that travels to the Bahamas or Dry Tortugas. I tried searching "floatilla" & "flotilla" on google and got some sites but mostly I got sites about "bare boating  " and some rock band (I think  ). Not exactly what I was looking for. Anyone know of any websites for S FL boating groups or group boating travel sites? Should I search a different term other than "floatilla" that might give me better luck?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. :D
Thanks!
Chris

I believe the Bahamas ministry of tourism runs a few flotillas from time to time... To inquire, you can reach the Bahamas ministry of toursim (Plantation FL. office) at 800-327-7678, or 954-236-9292

You might find info on organized flotillas here from time to time..
http://www.fort-lauderdale-marine-directory.com/anc.php

Florida Sportsman forums are another good source of info...
http://outdoorsbest.zeroforum.com/zeromain?id=1

I believe some guys on the Northwest Forum are planning a trip over to Bimini in the spring. You might refer your inquiry to that board and I am sure you will come up wirh a quick response.

if you own a sea ray, try contacting your nearest sea ray dealer. they hold group tours, flotillas, whatever they are called, all the time, some times to the bahamas, sometimes just up major river and back.

heck, email sea ray for "more information" about their boats, and they will send you, wheather you want it or not, a bi-monthly brochure/booklet about their boats and tours and such.

Drop into your local MarineMax dealer. The Sea Ray gang does cruises on a regular basis.
