Picked up one of these a few years ago, and would like to get another.

Can't find them anywhere.
Can find Ugly Stik, and Ugly Stik Lite.

The "Pro" is a little nicer, has cork handle, and is/was available in 6' length, "light" action.

THe Lite Pro has royal blue thread wrapping.

Any suggestions?

I purchased an ugly stik last month at bass pro. It has a cork handle but to be honest i can not remember if it said lite or pro on it.

Ok, update.
Got some info from 2 fishing boards.
It seems the Lite Pro is a Walmart only product.
And no one has seen the 6' lite or the 6'6" ultra lite in a couple years.

I may have to check into a Cabela's Whuppin stick the next time I get near Milw.

Dang, it is getting hard to find a good old fashion fiberglass rod these days.

roscoe, there's about 4 of'em in a rod-rack at warmart here...Corke handles and I know I seen "Lite"...I don't remember about the pro though...I'll check in the am and see if that's what they are...I know they've been in that rack for atleast a summer, maybe more....I was looking for something Jr. might not be as apt to snap in half...
I'll take a look tomorrow.

Re: Where to find an Ugly Stik Lite Pro ?

I guess I will have to venture into a walmart and look, when I get time.

I have plenty of graphite rods, and a 30 year old glass rod.
Used the 6' lite action ugly stik lt pro on Tuesday, 1/8 oz. jigs for smallmouth.
Had a blast with the 1 pounders, damn near fell overboard with a few 16"ers.

Anyway, I actually want the stiks for walleye fishing. For when the bite is real light. Seems when I use my $$ graphite walleye rods, the fish feel the rod and spit it out. But with the limber glass rod, the rod sort of wilts under the weight of the fish. I gives me time to give the fish some slack, count to 3 or 4, then set the hook.

tight lines.

roscoe, wally world has 2 here...there was 4, but 2 left, both 6ft light action.
They have them on clearance at $11.00...I should have bought them both and sent'em to ya.
I can go get'em tomorrow if ya want them....no money needs to change hands...especially since you said you were using them for Walleye.....:D

I just picked up a 7 foot Ugly Stick Lite Pro Graphite, LPCA 1170 1M yesterday @ WalMart

It was the only one of this type they had. They had some other Pro Graphites but they were spinning rods.
