hey hollis, i guide for walleyes and muskies on the delaware river with a 16 ft roughneck tunnel jet. i just ordered a 18 footer with a 80 hp jet and should have it in a week or so. i've crashed and trashed my share so i think i've learned a few things along the way, usually the hard way. whats catching up your way?
John

Yep, not exactly lagging....just playing in the current.
So, has anyone tried using an intake fin kit on their outboard jet? This kit directs more water to the pump and is very useful (it is said) in reducing cavitation problems with the pump during tight turns and rough water.
How about sharping or beveling the existing intake grille?
My pump is new, so I have a while before it gets a stainless impeller and cup.
