Today , in Southern Ontario, it was warm and sunny. It is the start of November and I am afraid if we dont get down to some serious winter soon, we will be waiting for the ice to clear come June. If that is the case..we will be welding some steel to the bow of the Regal!!

yesterday , the wind was out of the west at about 60 mph(100kmph for us canucks). It almost ( I repeat almost) made me wish I had a sailbote. Could have really been cooking..(once you got over the fact that you were on a sailbote).

I don't know how you guys do it. The best fishing of the season doesn't even start for another 2 weeks and continues until Mid-January if the water temps hold up.

Its Just starting to get into the best boating season here. From May till September, its just too darn hot to be out on the water. 3 minutes till the sweat starts rolling down your forehead, 15 minutes till the sunburn starts. Fall, Winter and Spring are the best times since the temp drops a bit, the big storms have gone for the season and the grouper are coming in from the deep to the shallows.<br /><br />Nav

BUY MORE GEAR! haha winter is 3-4 months of X-mas for me. Gettin new rods and reels from japan. To much cabin fever though which is not very fun just ask the GF.

You guys must get a good dose of white in Germantown Wisconsin. How high do the drifts get? Here in Southern Ontario we are in between lakes Huron and Erie so we get lake effect snow no matter which way the wind blows.<br /> <br />

brine: I live a little further south in Wisconsin to see the snow I want to see. We usually see 50 or more inches of snow. Some Places more if we get Lake effect from Lake Michigan. Further up North in this state is where I want to be......150 plus inches of snow from Superior.

Pony: we get about 100 inches a year, Drive two hours north and orillia gets 150.

There used to be a show called "Fish On" on a cable sports network opposite Monday Night Football. They had pretty women in skimpy swim suits fishing for large fish in the Gulf of Mexico.<br /><br />It made it hard to watch the Cleveland .vs. Cinn. game, if you know what I mean(sorry to those in Ohio, no insult intended)
