I have a 6hp 1966-1968 Johnson Sea Horse. My question is what size, type, material, etc... Prop Shear Pin do I need?<br /><br />Thanks in advance for the help
Hello.<br />You should go to a Johnson dealer.<br />The pins you need are stainless material and not easily available in a regular hardware store.<br />They should really be quite cheap.<br />Buy one to use and another to keep next to your engine on the boat.I keep mine stuck on the transom so I will never forget it.<br />Good luck.
