Fiberglass boat measuring 13.5 feet from transom to tip. No tags, been sitting here uncovered in Seattle, Wa. since 2000. Cleaned it up a bit, wondering if worth fixing. Broken area under transom, and hole up front where some critter was living. Bottom looked like it was patched, but just worn areas, Thanks for looking.

Don't know what yr or model. She's very similar to mine. I can tell ya you'll end up spending close to $1,000 or more to get her back on the water and that's if you're REALLY frugal. Motors are not easy to find for cheap. Your glass work and interior work will run close to $1K for sure. I wish you well if you decide to bring her back to life!!

Looks like the perfect example of the following saying,

'The less you buy a boat for...the more it will end up costing you'.

Don't. Do. It.

Find something else.

Agree that even for free it's going to take a lot of coin, time and BS&T. What you have there is what I would call a derelict.

You can check with the DMV and see if they issue Home built titles and what all is involved. In my state it's pretty straight forward and NOT all that hard to do with and old boat like this. Since you'll have to "GUT" her any way, she'd be a good candidate for this and then getting paperwork might be fairly easy. This might be an option but then again maybe not. Something to think about and look into IF you decide to move forward. The price of a New Boat makes restoring one mighty tempting, if you have the time, patience and sticktoittiveness to "Git er dun"!!!!! If you really like this style of boat, I'm 100% certain that for $3,000 and 250 man hours of work you could have her back to "Better than Factory" specs. That's including a good running motor, trailer all refurbished and the entire boat redone including the interior. It would be a lot of Hard, Dirty, Itchy work but...Lot's of guys have done it here on the forum and they are beautiful when they're done. I love mine and wouldn't trade her for anything. They are NOT for everyone and not for a big family cuz they get crowded in a hurry but for cruising around for 2 people on a nice evening cruise...They can't be beat!!! Really cheap Boat!!!! I had a blast restoring mine and the guys here on the forum are GREAT to work with. I don't think you'd regret on minute of it. The other nice thing is you can Nickel and dime it and pay for it as you go so if it takes 2-3 years to finish the project then that's ok to. As long as you have a place to keep her out of the weather and work on it when you can...who cares!!! It's your project!!! Somethings are best to be done quickly, others can wait.

Here is WA State you can get a registration only with no title for 3 years unless you have a signed over title for the boat.

Reading the post before seeing the pics, I was thinking oh man he got himself a cool old Skagit which is one of our local glass boats from years gone by. I don't think so after seeing the pics, not sure what it is, pretty non-descript hull. The trailer looks pretty salty too.
