What is this gear ratio

I have a 1995 M40C tohatsu long shaft w/tiller.Manual says gear reduction ratio is 13:25,I've seen a lot of post about gear ratio's but never this,what does it mean and can any one tell me my ratio.<br /> Thanks!<br /> Mike

Howdy Tenacrewoods.<br /><br />The numbers are the number of teeth on the gears, 13 teeth on the driveshaft, 25 teeth on the prop shaft.<br /><br />That calculates to about 1:1.92<br /><br />Hope that helps.
