1973 mercruiser 120. What model is it ? pre alpha i know but which one.
model 0,1,2, r ,mr. If i go to order parts which model would i say.

Yes the outdrive is pre Alpha probaly a Model MC-1/R/MR they are the same pretty much with interchangable parts.

Your engine is a Mercruiser 120 2.5 GM. I have the same outfit.

Mine's a 66 110 HP. I'm still tryin to figure out what to call it. Way to much slang involved

NB with the 110 you should have a Model 1.

bigskiohio your should also be a Model 1.

Mercruiser used these till 81-82 I believe.
