On the tag in the picture, what is the information circled in red stand for?

I'm not sure, but it looks like an identifier for the person or entity that installed the capacity plate. It does not refer to the capacity.

How old is your boat? The capacity tags for the US and Canada are very similar today.

Maybe check with the Dept. of Transport?

This boat is a 1975, Canadian plate, Canadian built boat

Interesting that NDS 342 is hand stamped, and the rest of the tag data is embossed.

I suspect @rallyart is correct, a person/entity that inspected the boat and confirmed the info on the data plate.

Quality/safety inspection or similar......

Just a wild guess - It might be related to who the seller/dealer was so the manufacturer could trace it. Usually the dealers would outfit boats upon request ie. gauges, steering, lights etc. That is a reason many of the older boats had different wiring and gauge placement.

One of the reasons I ask is in 2010 a guy on here posted his plate for the same make and model and his stamped number was NDS345. Swiada was his name. I private wrote him but no reply yet

No his boat was/is blue mine is red and sanded down always red plus his tag was NDS345
Boat is a Springbok Sprinter (1975)
