I have a mastercraft Boat trailer that has not been registered in about 30 years. I have the model # and serial # that I found on a metal plate, but can't find the vin#. DMV has no record of this. Where on the trailer could it be stamped? The model # is CD1-900 and ser # is 150092. Can anyone hel me? thanks

The model and serial number very likely is the VIN number. It would make no sense to have all three. VIN numbers identify a model and its serial number. You either have a VIN or you have a Model and Serial number. If it hasn't been registered in 30 years I can understand why the DMV doesn't know about it. Perhaps its never been registered. You might contact MasterCraft and see if they can provide you with a duplicate of the Manufacturers Statement of Origin. That document is required to register it the first time.
