What a slow day!

Extremely slow day today in Galveson Bay. Wind was terrible. Caught 5-6 Sheepshead but through them back. Bunch of sand trout (not enough meat and too hard to clean for me).

Only good thing of the day was the 40.5" Black Drum that I caught. Took forever to wear that fish out, and me too! The fight was worth the slow day.

Did I say I was tired after it?!

Hi, KK.

That's why we call it fishing, not catching. :)

That's a slow day?.... E-gad man... It sure beats fiberglass work, which was how I spent the day...

Ahhhhh... I love the smell of Polyester resin in the morning.... :p

Slow day was right. Did nothing but sit infront of this puter screen. Rained all day, but was warm enough to turn the A/C on. :D But like they say, a slow day fishing is better than doing nothing.

Re: What a slow day!

This was definitely a slow day. But like was said, slow day fishin' is better than most other things!

It rained here for 3 weeks straight and this was my first chance to get out. I was stir crazy.

BTW, I will be doing fiberglass work on my boat in January so I'll know how you feel snapperbait.

What was bad, I took a neighbor out with me and of course I was braggin' about how many fish I normally catch out there and sure enough, hardly anything was biting! Just my luck.
