Does the boat only list while on plane? Does it sit level while at the dock. If it only lists on plane its something else, coukd he a trim tab adjustment, could even be a poor choice in prop.

If you have water in your hull, it would be in the floatation foam, and cannot be removed by any other means than by removing the foam. This is a major project.

I would think water trapped in the hull somwhere is fairly unlikely. I would imagine that any void (save where the fuel tank lives and any under floor storage) would be filled with spray foam, ,and that stuff won't absorb water.
Splat has a good point, how does it sit at the dock?
If it's just me in the boat my boat will list a little to starboard, but once I get her trimmed up, problem gone.

The spray in foam from the manufacturer will absolutely absorb water, and once it becomes water logged it will NOT dry out.

+1 on positive water absorption. Where do these people get their misinformation?

If she dosen't list at the dock (check with an inclinometer) than I doubt she has traped water. Sounds like a trim or weight distributon issue.

Re: water trapped in hull

i am trimming the bot while under way....i have tried puttign all my gear/weight on the starboard side...i have raised the engine..tried several props..an altho i thinks it will be futile im going to move my skimmer transom mount transducer to the port side...i have been told that water could be trapped in the hull in front of the fuel coffin area and it would not cause a list untill under way...when im alone in the boar it does not really list underway but when i have a passenger i think water rushes to the port side that is trapped making the list worse...i just dont know how to attack this issue...over the winter i noticed that the drain tube in the cabin anchor locker was iced up...there has to be water in there somewhere
