What is a good product to use to help burn the water out of my tank. Up north here in MN we are used to putting HEAT (isopropyl alcohol I believe) in the tank of our cars when the gas lines freeze up. But I am not sure what to use on a two stoke OB.. Thanks.

Re: Water in Gas

Get a good water seperating fuel filter and change it often. I think the HEET is a bad idea because it may wash the lubricating properties of your 2 stroke oil off of the vital engine parts. If your current tank has a lot of water and/or crud in it, get rid of that fuel and start over. I don't think trying to burn it through the motor is a good plan.

------------------
I'm going to invent a TCW3/citronella oil blend and make a fortune!

I agree! I had the same problem with my I/O, and got a water / fuel separater filter. Made all the difference in the world, and was very easy to install.
